About Tadek

Tadek’s history and purpose

Established in 2010, Tadek is an independent consultancy with a reputation as a dynamic consultancy resource for Marine, Offshore & Subsea projects. We offer services in mooring and umbilical design, naval architecture, and installation analysis to the oil and gas, marine renewables and offshore wind industries.

Tadek’s particular strength is to work closely with customers to ensure assets are safely installed offshore and interfaced to existing or new infrastructure in the most cost-efficient way.

Tadek are at the forefront of floating wind technology, having been involved in concept, FEED, detailed design and project support for FOWTIs including Marine Power Systems, Principal Power EFGL, Saitec, and Floating Energy Systems – Drop Keel. These works have built on a foundation of work within wave and tidal energy where we have been involved as installation engineers and designers in nearly every device install in the past decade, starting with Tadek’s first job, the installation of the first commercial scale tidal device, the 1MW HS1000 of Andritz hydro Hammerfest. These cutting-edge projects require Naval Architects who have the ability to solve complex problems and who are comfortable working on unconventional design, outside of the comfort of established codes, standards and practices. Floating wind is a rapidly growing sector for us and now makes up the majority of our workload.

“It’s an exciting time to join Tadek as we continue to expand our team and build on our strong reputation in oil and gas, hydrogen and offshore wind.

If you are seeking an exciting and rewarding role, with challenge, responsibility and daily development opportunities, alongside a positive, supportive and inspiring working environment, you’ll love it at Tadek.”
